Happy Birthday Jack! 64 yrs young.
You still carry my glamour shot pictures in your wallet.
You still buy me my favorite snacks.
You still make me laugh with the same old jokes.
You have taught me more than all my teachers combined.
You showed me that ♥ is possible by respecting and caring for my mom.
You never meddle in my relationships but when something isn’t right I know you have my back and your famous words never leave my mind. “No quieren pan, quieren palos”
You are Daddy, Friend, Santa Claus, Tooth fairy (El Raton), 3 Reyes Magos, Easter Bunny, thanks for making my childhood the best.
You allowed me to be an individual and never once judged me. (Piercings, tattoos, crazy hairstyle and even in my “Gothic” stage you bought me my first pair of doc martin black boots with the hidden compartment in the sole.)
You encouraging my creativity and because of you I am not afraid to try.
I couldn’t ask for a better f*$k&# Dad. I ♥ you Daddy!
I recently updated my facebook cover page to this. A couple crazy things I've done. Be the best mommy you can be just don't forget to take some time for you.
I've been cooking soups and making yummy breakfast at home to take to work it's helped me in saving money and the home made soups are good for this weather change. I can't seem to get rid of this cold.

An old friend/co-worker sent me a box of goodies in the mail. He is super thoughtful and the only person who follows my blog and enjoys it. Thanks friend. The twins and I enjoyed all the candy and art supplied.

Friday night at home doing what we do best and always keeping it classy.
I leave you with last weeks inspiring quotes.
"It's not hard to make decisions once you know what your values are" -Roy E Disney
“Those who seek beauty will find it.” ~Bill Cunningham
"Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace" -Dalai Lama

I ♥ my Nikon D700
So here are a few shots I took with my new baby. I finally saved enough money to buy it and I'm so happy with it. I need to practice practice practice using it. It's still a little hard for me to adjust the settings but I know the more I use the better I will get at it.

Blog You Later
I’ve neglected my blog now more than ever and it’s not because I don’t like to blog. You see I’ve been busy. Doing what you ask? It seems like my creative desire for photography and invitation design has taken over my life. I love doing both and I’m not complaining. I must admit I’m a bit overwhelmed. My mind is oozing creativity and having to be stuck on my desk for 40 hours a week doesn’t help. Like most artist I too have a corporate day job. This day job is my main source of income. Some day’s I sit and think about quitting. Just dive in head first and peruse what I really love doing.
At work I think about what I could be doing once I get home, like snapping pictures or coming up with new invitation designs to post on my site. “Oh oh I bet this color would look great on this invite and that bright envelope will make it pop. I bet if I wait for the mid day the sun will just be perfect. I can finally take that vintage chair I bought and use it as a prop for a picture” those are some of the things I think of at work. I get supper excited and by the time I’m done putting my 8 hours in and go home I’m too tired to do anything. Work lady turns into mommy till about 11pm. I feed the boys, do homework, give them a bath, read them a book and put them in bed. Finally, some Suzy time! Woop woop what should I do first? Um, start designing the invite? Yes that’s it. I get to my computer but freeze. That brilliant idea I had earlier today at work um not working for me. I’m so exhausted I can’t seem to put myself together. I will just work on it tomorrow.
And so these are my days. I can’t complain because some day’s in between feeding the kids and 2am I do my best work. Other days I do nothing at all and that’s ok. When it comes to doing what I love I’m willing to loose some sleep. It’s hard but until I get my lucky break and boy do I wish it comes soon, I’ll be a walking zombie.

Cuties for the Cuties on Valentines Day
This Valentines day I wanted to keep things simple and sweet. So I decided to purchase a case of cuties and some valentines day stickers and came up with a sweet healthy treat. My kids love cuties so I figured the kids in class would also like them.
